RESPONSE BY WILLIAM OWENS
Now that’s pretty good: “REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE” what exactly does this mean anyway? I am yet amazed at how desperate we are to justify murder of the innocent by using words that they think will smokescreen their intent from our society as to the innocent’s right to live. It does not matter what color you are, or which neighborhood you’re from-you cannot legalize negligence, irresponsibility and vanity. Unless it is a life or death situation for either the mother or child, the right of the child to live should never be questioned.
Genuine reproductive justice, if used in its full meaning, extends rights to everyone involved, including the unborn. If used in its full meaning, it also includes the life of the unborn. It includes the life of the person who is waiting for their chance to experience life in the most beautiful of ways; smelling a rose, running through the park, seeing a sunset. Furthermore, how can we denounce the presence of life in a womb without also denouncing ourselves? After all they look like us, have a hint of our ways and provide us the best opportunity to give back.
The idea of SisterLove is contradictory because while the profess love, they are simultaneously justifying the worse example of HATE by murdering the unborn. This is a revelation of a mixed idealism that allows for a double standard. Allegiance to a life of self-gratification without the willingness to take responsibility for the consequences is a condition of irresponsibility. It is impossible to be alleged to future generations if you annihilate them when their production proves to be an inconvenience. You cannot be loyal to loving each other, if you cannot even love your unborn sister.
Therefore, I submit another name: SelfHate. For there is no way you can have SisterLove when you justify the killing of your own future SISTERS who are in your womb. Neither the BROTHERS who are needed to ensure a future contribution of African-American males to America’s future.
In conclusion what kind of religious leader can declare themselves one who follows a God who cares about His creation and yet step up to justify the legalization of murder? I guess SelfHate needs their false prophets to tell them peace peace when there is no Peace. As far as the medical profession is concerned, well – you know.
End.
