BLACK RESPONSE TO SISTERLOVE “REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE”

Atlanta, GA – Sistersong Women of Color Reproductive Health Collective, SisterLove and SPARK Reproductive Justice NOW will stand with leaders from the Atlanta community to denounce Operation Rescue/Operation Save America at Sistersong’s national headquarters, MONDAY, July 14, 2008 at 9:00am. Sistersong, SisterLove and SPARK will stand with women of the civil rights community, religious leaders, and medical professionals to affirm women of color’s right to abortion and the need for reproductive justice for everyone.

RESPONSE BY WILLIAM OWENS

Now that’s pretty good: “REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE” what exactly does this mean anyway?  I am yet amazed at how desperate we are to justify murder of the innocent by using words that they think will smokescreen their intent from our society as to the innocent’s right to live.  It does not matter what color you are, or which neighborhood you’re from-you cannot legalize negligence, irresponsibility and vanity.  Unless it is a life or death situation for either the mother or child, the right of the child to live should never be questioned.

Genuine reproductive justice, if used in its full meaning, extends rights to everyone involved, including the unborn. If used in its full meaning, it also includes the life of the unborn. It includes the life of the person who is waiting for their chance to experience life in the most beautiful of ways; smelling a rose, running through the park, seeing a sunset. Furthermore, how can we denounce the presence of life in a womb without also denouncing ourselves?  After all they look like us, have a hint of our ways and provide us the best opportunity to give back.

The idea of SisterLove is contradictory because while the profess love, they are simultaneously justifying the worse example of HATE by murdering the unborn. This is a revelation of a mixed idealism that allows for a double standard. Allegiance to a life of self-gratification without the willingness to take responsibility for the consequences is a condition of irresponsibility. It is impossible to be alleged to future generations if you annihilate them when their production proves to be an inconvenience.  You cannot be loyal to loving each other, if you cannot even love your unborn sister.

Therefore, I submit another name: SelfHate.  For there is no way you can have SisterLove when you justify the killing of your own future SISTERS who are in your womb. Neither the BROTHERS who are needed to ensure a future contribution of African-American males to America’s future.

In conclusion what kind of religious leader can declare themselves one who follows a God who cares about His creation and yet step up to justify the legalization of murder? I guess SelfHate needs their false prophets to tell them peace peace when there is no Peace. As far as the medical profession is concerned, well – you know.

End.

BLACK RESPONSE TO DEHLI’S PRAYER FOR SUCCESS

The message could not be clearer that Obama’s serves other gods and for anyone who names the name of Christ this cannot, should not, and must not be ignored.  For a potential presidential candidate to publicly claim they accepted Jesus Christ as Savior while also carrying a miniature Hanuman idol in his pocket for luck is clear that Senator Obama does not hold allegiance to the one God that Christians do.

The 1st of the ten commands clearly states,

Do not worship any other gods.

How does Senator Obama intend to politicize his way around this?  If he cannot commit to the very first of the Ten Commandments he obviously holds no regards for the remaining 9.

This is only further evidence that we are dealing with a man who cannot decide on which God to serve.  The reason why this is so critical for our nation is because it reveals that Senator Obama has no commitment to the foundation of America and that it was founded upon Christian principles.  Like it or not, this is the truth and it will be the truth that keeps our nation free.

Lastly, the American people must refuse promises of peace and prosperity and change from anyone who cannot remain steadfast with one God.  The point here is that Obama does not have to serve the God of the Bible to be accepted, but if he says he does serve him then he should serve him only.  Just imagine for a moment a president of these United States saying things to us now with the same commitment he has with God?  I wonder whom he is really serving: the majority of the people for the good of our nation, or himself and the selected few?

End.

BLACK RESPONSE TO JESSE JACKSON’S COMMENT

Black Response to Rev. Jackson’s Foul Comment About Obama’s Anatomy

Rev. Jesse Jackson’s foul comment concerning Senator Barack Obama’s anatomy reveals deeper concerns shared not only by Jesse Jackson but by millions of Black Americans, regarding Barack Obama’s agenda and ability to lead. It also reveals a serious need for new African American leadership to rise up with an agenda for real change that reflects values, pro-life, and family. Black Americans for Real Change (BARC) is committed to leading with character, integrity and results. Evangelist William Owens, cofounder of BARC in conjunction with Dr. Alveda King (Dr. Martin Luther King’s niece), is leading a team from BARC that is following Obama on the campaign trail, rebutting Barack’s comments that are contrary to the core values of Black families in America.

Owens said, “To suggest that the removal of Obama’s n*ts as the solution further reveals Rev. Jackson’s mindset and potentially why there has been no real change under such leadership.”
